Future superstars

Need to give a quick shout out to my buddy Heather Pedigo as she "goes for the gold" this weekend at the North Americans. Just adore this girl and want her to kick some butt so GO HEATHER!!!! Crazy changes on this big gal...can't wait to see how the judges judge this one! *roll eyes*

Another shout out goes to my girl Ilknur Dunlap. Ilknur lives in Tulsa by way of Turkey which I have discussed before and will be making her American debut at the Total Package in a couple of weeks. She comes all the way to my neck of the woods for posing practice and I will be doing her hair/makeup for the show. She doesn't need much...has great features and absolutely gorgeous hair! She will look like a "rock star" on stage...I will make sure of that. (had to throw that in as Ilknur is a hard rock fan.) Here are some updated pics taken last night after her practice. She surprised me with a KICK ASS t-shirt she had custom made for me to thank me for helping her. It is awesome in person...might even have her make some more and sell 'em if any of my peeps want to sport one?? I got emotional when she handed it to me...she is a special, special girl and I just think she is great...can't thank her enough for doing something like that for me-wow!

My Angel, My Mom

I am headed HOME this Labor Day weekend to see my family FINALLY!!!!!! I am elated!! I need a breath of fresh air and some of my Mom's good ol' fashioned "lovins" in hopes that some of her fighting spirit will rub off on me just a bit more through some sort of osmosis! She is my angel on this earth and the strength that lives inside of me...not to mention the genetics I possess come directly from her. She is an amazing woman and I am honored to have her as my "Momma". I might get some pics while I'm there outside on the acreage where my precious Electra used to play. The clover should be beautiful right now...



My next update has been sent to Andy. It is of the finals at the Europa last year complete with a video of my posing routine. Gee whiz I was a COW!!! lol! Soft as hell...arrrgghhh! That is what happens when your cardio and training is impaired due to your calf flying across the room when you step wrong! (funny visual isn't it? lol!) At any rate, I still managed to have some sort of shape and condition to do semi-okay. 7th at my first pro show is aaaaiigght I guess. I had hoped for better but everything happens for a reason and I was supposed to do poorly to take a break and do what I'm doing now...LIVING LIFE! Here is a neat pic that is included in the gallery...I love my back! Lot's of muscle but still shapely enough to look feminine from anyone's perspective. I will tell you...as I was viewing these pics I was acutely aware of how ridiculous my life was at that time. Suffice it to say that if/when I am ready to make my "comeback" you will not believe your eyes. Already have some folks on board just waiting for the word and IT'S ON! Thank you all for hanging in here with me. It is incredible to me how many of you could care less if I compete or not and just want to see what I'm up to! Ah, the roller coaster world of G. Davis...wouldn't have it any other way. Love you all and hope you have an enjoyable Labor Day weekend!!!

Closure

I think I finally got my point across. Tough to shake a dog off of your leg, but is hopefully done and I can get back to my life devoid of any further nuisances. Sorry to vent like I did, but when negative things such as that are omnipresent in one's life it is hard to keep it suppressed. Hope you all are liking the new update! Great feedback so far!!!

Mix & Match

Completely overwhelming the amount of people that stop by my journal on a daily basis and see what is on my mind. Emails, texts, voice mails, and I even spotted a forum post quoting my latest thoughts...lol! Well, now that I have your attention...you need to know that things aren't always as they seem and just when you least expect it what you thought was reality was only a facade. It isn't a question of if this will happen, it is when it will happen. Cracks me up how certain people take things to heart and personally when...let me clear my throat on this one...I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! Guilty conscience perhaps? Unbelievable! Guess when you are egocentric it is natural to think that everyone is talking about you eh? I am telling you what...this is getting more and more comical by the day. I cannot wait for the fallout....

Now, for people who stop by to see how I'm doing instead of if I am talking about them...here are some pics I took this morning by the pool...still feeling great! I am thoroughly enjoying my life these days in spite of "pests" that still want to inject themselves into my world. Proves that happiness can be faked by even the most "wise" of people.

Toxicity

Another sleepless night...arrgghh!!! Have to thank my Mom for the insomnia gene!lol! A LOT on my mind and am really doing a great job at stifling some things. My life has certainly changed for the better since I moved to north OKC, but some residual unpleasantries remain. You know...the kind that seem to hang on no matter what you do? Gonna take some hardcore reality checks for me to kick them out of my life for good and I think I am at the point to do just that. Typically I wouldn't notice the stench that I involved myself in not so long ago, but now that I am living in a world of fresh air, the smell is just too much and must be removed. I have HAD IT with the drama. Life goes on and I am certainly getting on with it...why can't others? Once again, I will elaborate later...it would be a crushing diatribe if I were to get into it now...too sleepy and too fired up. Not a good combo for G. Rest assured I am taking control over this situation and it isn't going to be pretty. It's about freakin' time! Mess with the bull you get the horns ya know what I mean???

Onto the great feedback I received concerning the pic of Shannon Young and myself in my last entry...THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for the sweet emails! Yes, I agree...THIS IS WHAT HEALTHY, HAPPY fbbers look like when they realize that bbing isn't everything and that real life is more important. If/when I compete again, I will certainly become a slave to the prep and the one-dimensional existence I despise during pre-contest. I will have a determination like I have never known, and all the right things/people in my corner to make it happen. This time off is only making me better and you better damn well know that if I pick a show...I'm aiming for that "#1 Spot"! Nothing and no one will stop me...that's how I roll.

Members: Just sent Andy my next update. It is a HUGE photo gallery of my training days at Body Tech. Needed to purge myself of all of that and so I included every last training photo I ever took while training at that facility. I didn't care to look at any of them but I am sure there are some pretty bad ass lifting photos in there. I also included two video clips of me posing about a month ago...kinda flirty/sassy clips so I think you all will like 'em!

Okay, have to hit the rack...thanks for listening/reading. I am a handful at times! lol!

Oh hell...another sleepless night. I haven't been sleeping well lately. Not sure what it is but I wish I could count sheep or meditate--whatever! lol! I think it may be due to the boot camp program I am running at my work. It will be over in a few weeks and I want all my "recruits" to kick ass so I think I am having trouble turning off work when it is personal time. Guess that's what happens when you give a damn.

I have been spending a lot of time with my girls lately. I couldn't ask for better friends, both old and new. These ladies just exude class, yet can be "down" when they need to be too. Never short on laughter that's for sure. Last night we met at a nice restaurant on the lake and had dinner and cocktails. The conversation was colorful to say the least! One of the girls that was in attendance was my good buddy Shannon Young. Shannon was the overall fbb winner at the 2005 Jr. Nationals. She has hung up her posing suits for good but I must tell ya, she looks terrific! She and I had a long talk about this industry and came to the same conclusion....we like where we're at right now. Taking it easy, keeping healthy and living in the REAL world. I sometimes visit other gals sites and think that they really need a reality check. Some are addicted to competing, some are incredibly arrogant, and some are just downright clueless to the people they are surrounding themselves with. I am not laying down any judgment, just saying that I find it comical. It is really nice to sit on the sidelines and shake my head in disbelief at some of this. I will touch on this later 'cause I have a lot to say on the subject but it is stupid late here and I need to wrap it up.

Every once in a while someone comes along... a student of the game, a true fan of the sport, a go-getter that joins in the competitive arena on her own terms devoid of any "short cuts" or ego. Tonight I had the pleasure of working with my buddy Ilknur Dunlap (no relation to Sarah) who is preparing to compete in her first U.S. show in 4 weeks called the Total Package here in OK. She lives in Tulsa by way of Turkey! I have known Ilknur for a while now and her tenacity is unstoppable. I will be continuing to help her polish her posing for the stage in addition to hair/makeup, etc..before the show. She has made amazing changes and will do VERY well I have no doubt. Go Ilknur! On to other news. You know, I am continuously amazed at some of the emails I receive from some of my members. I say some, meaning "very few" who are quite disenchanted with the lack of nudity on my site. I recently had one member actually tell me they were cancelling their membership due to this and that I should reconsider my stance on that issue. Simply put...NO WAY IN HELL! I am sorry for those of you who would like to see a bit more of me, but I stand firm on this matter. If someone wants to see that type of material, there are PLENTY of places on the net to find nude fbbers. I am aware that they may want to see THIS nude fbber, but it will never happen. No judgment or condemnation of those that choose to display themselves in that manner, I just choose not to take that route. Quite frankly, I DON'T HAVE TO to have a successful website or to appeal to fbbing fans. Not to mention, my Momma would have my ass if I ever chose to display what God gave me on the world wide web! lol! Love ya Mom! *wink*

Picture time! Picture time! lol! Hi y'all! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the scorching heat all around us. Just wanted to drop in and say that all is well with my computer. Had to buy a whole new hard drive and have it installed and programs replaced so it should be good to go now. The new update was taken from last week and is a pretty good depiction of how I am looking and maintaining these days. Well...I am down to 166 lbs now so that is a couple less than the videos and pics! lol! I really am enjoying how my physique looks right now. It suits me well while I continue to sit back and let the fbbing world figure itself out. I am not happy with the state of things so to speak so I choose to sit it out for awhile. Don't get me wrong, I am still killin' it in the gym especially the cardio so I am still big ol' G...just a bit tighter. Here are some pics taken from a few days ago...hope you enjoy!
