Quick note to give props to two ladies that will be competing for pro cards in the figure division at the USA this year--Jill Smith, who I have talked about previously, is a Body Tech athlete who has really changed her physique into what I believe is what figure should look like. This girl busts her butt daily and just gets better and better! Here is a pic of Jill at 5 weeks out--can you imagine when showtime gets here? WOW!

The next lady I think has a superior structure and should turn some heads in the tall division--Natalie A'Neil. Natalie has been visiting OKC lately and has some of the best shoulder to waist ratio and lat taper that I have seen in figure-period. Here is Miss Natalie...once again 5 weeks out!

Two outstanding figure competitors that I feel will really make an impact on the national level. Good luck to both of them!!!

Hi y'all! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. I had a terrific weekend filled with fun, friends, and lots of laughter. Times like that make up for the mundane, tedious contest prep time we all go through while getting ready for a contest. I am 9 weeks out and am really, really excited to see what's next in terms of changes yet to come. This past week represented a big "shift" in my physique--suprising actually. I never see things start to snowball until 8 weeks on. To be ahead of where I was last time (where I thought I was ahead from the previous prep) is a nice place to be. I have never had trouble gaining mass or with development--conditioning has always been the problem. That seems to be a thing of the past. Muscle and body memory has me progressing like I have never experienced. I remember my friend, Bonny Priest, telling me years ago that it is so cool to see that how your body "remembers" and continues to get better and better with each subsequent prep. So true! I think my members will be blown away with my next update at 8 weeks out next weekend. I am, simply, thrilled with how things are going at this stage in the game. Thanks for checking in on me...more to come!

Hi y'all! The Oklahoma State BBing contest was a great success! Had a good time judging and was very pleased to see the quality of competitors at the show. Once again, there wasn't a big turnout for fbbing-makes me sad. Monica won the open middleweight division and got second in the masters. I enjoyed working with her that morning and night getting her hair/makeup just right. She turned out perfectly! Ms. Jill Smith was the trophy girl for the evening and I touched up her makeup a bit before going on. Jill will be the next Body Tech athlete to take the stage next month at the USA Championships in Vegas. She should do VERY well in the figure division. Here are some pics of Monica and Jill and I in the hotel. Very late here and my cardio has been bumped up to an hour in the morning and hour at night, so tomorrow will be a loooonnng day! lol! More later folks...

Wow! So much has happened in the last three weeks. Body is changin' quickly thank goodness. My girl, Carri said I am changing all over this time instead of the neck down like usual. (we call it the "iceberg" effect lol!) I swear, my calves and ankles finally get a lean look to them at about...oh...2 weeks out! lol! Not this time hopefully! There is one problem though--I am having trouble feeling my left lat during a rear relaxed and rear lat spread. Not sure if this can be attributed to my left bicep injury causing some sort of neuromuscular disconnect, but it is frustrating the heck outta me! During posing, everyone says it is in it's proper place, but I just cannot feel it! I took my 12 week out pics today for my member's update (coming tomorrow of course) and my rear relaxed looks like CRAPOLA! I am way up in my shoulders and mashing my arms into my lats...and it felt like I was in proper position while I was doing it. I have got to get this corrected somehow. I will find a way-I always do!

Next weekend is the Oklahoma State Championship in Tulsa, OK. Body Tech has one female bodybuilder in the show and she looks DYNAMITE! Her name is Monica Hale and I have no doubt she will make her mark on that stage as well as Master's Nationals coming up in July. Carri and I will be teaming up on her with our PROLOOKS expertise and will make her shine! She doesn't need much-she is a sparkler all on her own-just a good, good person. Good luck Miss Monica!

In other news, I have to address something a bit on the negative side--in fbbing there is a small amount of comraderie and a boatload of catty competitiveness. I choose to take the high road, but will not tolerate ANYONE speaking of me inferiorly. It has come down the pike that there is a gal that thinks she will "mop the floor" with me at the Europa. Come, come now...is that necessary? Has she ever heard of quiet confidence? Like I always say, "BRING IT" sister and you better have a damn good grip to hold onto this mop handle--'cause you are in for the fight of your life if you think it's gonna be that easy. Now shut your mouth and get to TRAINING. See ya in Arlington...

Member's Update: I hope you all are enjoying my Countdown pics! Slowly but surely I will get there and the changes will be swift and dramatic. Very exciting time for me and I appreciate all of your supportive words and enthusiasm. Lifts me up daily-thank you!

More soon!
