1 week down, 15 more to go! lol! To sum up my first week of prep, I will say that it has been a pleasant surprise. I have been 100% on everything...i.e...diet, cardio, training. Not sure what the scale weight says, but my body is changing QUICKLY this time around. Surprised to see the outline of my abs already. That never happens this far out. I am happy that I got some of the weight off prior to starting this time around. I believe it will be helpful in maintaining a positive mindset as well as bringing an even tighter package to the stage in August. I would like to say THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH for the people that have hit the donate button to sponsor my efforts toward the pro stage this year. I am very grateful and assure you that your money will be used wisely and totally towards my prep. There is a lot of financial sacrifice that a fbber must make and help such as yours is invaluable. Just know from the bottom of my heart that you are appreciated.
I travelled to Dallas over the weekend as a special guest of the Ronnie Coleman Classic. Had a terrific time meeting so many new people and seeing a lot of old friends. I miss Texas a lot and it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling to be back. I handed out trophies to the female bodybuilders and had a booth where I sold 8 x 10s and t-shirts. I was fortunate enough to visit with a TON of people very interested and supportive of how things are going for me. I appreciate all of the well wishes you guys--and hope to make ya proud when I come back around later this year. Sadly, I have to report that there were only like 5 fbbers in the entire show...and it was a HUGE show that was promoted excellently by Brian Dobson as he does every year. Ahhh....what to do, what to do??? Setting a good example should help a bit shouldn't it? We shall see I guess.
Cardio comes early for this girl, so I must get some shut eye. I will leave you with a couple of pics from the show. Had a terrific time!
