MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! What a great year it has been, injury notwithstanding, I am very happy with my life and excited about what is yet to come!

My memberships are increasing more and more lately...seems like people are "feeling" the momentum growing for the new year. I promise you this--you will enjoy the ride that I am about to take you on as I prep for my pro debut. Hell, I WOULD JOIN TO WITNESS IT! lol!

Here is a little gift from me to you--my very own, built-in Christmas Tree from last year at about 6 weeks out:

The snow has melted and the temp. is a bit higher here now. Thank goodness! Went out today and had a blast on a 3-wheeler. I am terrified of motorcycles or dirt bikes...anything with two wheels, but get me on something with 3 or more wheels and I am off like a rocket! lol! TOO fun!

Last night we went to see "Walk The Line". It was VERY good. I didn't know much about ol' Johnny Cash, so it was cool to see how his life was as he gained popularity and became a star. Before that my buddy Shawn and I had appts. at MAC to get our makeup done. Shawn was doing it for a family photo she was having right after and I was doing it to see if I could pick up any tips for PROLOOKS. Suffice it to say that my method is sound and I truly feel that my application is right up there with them. I was finished and people were saying "It looks like something you already do"! lol! Good thing I didn't have to pay for it...although I did buy some products for their time.

Andy just updated the member's section--I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the content this time around. Two workouts: one of me doing back and the other doing chest and having the fun posedown with Darrell Terrell that I mentioned previously. In the back training video clips, I start out with deadlifts...first 225lbs, then 275lbs, then 315lbs, and end with 335lbs. Very cool clips! I am usually a heavy rack puller, but we are starting to incorporate more floor work and I am enjoying it a lot! Arm is holding up quite nicely as well! *whew*! Speaking of arm...here is a cool shot of a measurement I took right after a terrific arm workout. All time high of.... 18 and 1/2 inches!!! Hell yea!

The guy holding the tape is my buddy Mike. He is a great guy and LOVES Kowe like his own! Here he and I are during my workout:

I hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season so far...get those xmas presents bought now and avoid the procrastinators...like me!
Have a great week y'all!

So we got our SNOW here!!! It wasn't much, but ANY snow is an event for me...not used to seeing it from where I am from. It is quite foreign to Kowe for sure! Here are some pics I took when I got to the gym this morning...

Kowe having her first encounter with snow->

Apparently, not too impressed and did her "business" on the spot! lol! ->

Me and H snuggin' up to keep warm (notice the snowball in my hand)->

Me and Joey saying "freeze"!->

As Joey was walking in, I threw the aforementioned snowball at him and missed...not too happy with my aim here! lol! ->

The bad news was that my buddy Regina Raine was going to travel from Arlington, TX to train legs with me today but had to reconsider once the weather worsened. I was really looking forward to it, but certainly have her safety in mind first and foremost. I will catch ya next time Reg...big leg training time for the both of us sista (and a little cookie judging too)! lol!

Goodnight all,

It is friggin' COLD here!!! Brrrrr!!! I cannot stand cold weather--absolutely hate it! Man, I have tons of insulation right now, but this cold wind just cuts right through me. Good thing I have a new coat with lots of scarves, mufflers, and a hat or two to wrap up in. Supposed to snow tomorrow...we shall see! I can stand the arctic weather if I can view some pretty snow falling-very cool!

Speaking of cool...Darrell Terrell came down to Body Tech today to hit some chest with me during our mutual training time. We had a GREAT workout under H's guidance of course. Wicked, and I mean WICKED pump today. We got some neat photos together along with a funny "pose down" video between D.T. and I after we trained. I will include the clip along with the pics in the next update. For those of you that do not know...Darrell just got 3rd in the men's HEAVYWEIGHTS at Nationals a few weeks ago:

He is still so freaky lean and I am...well, NOT! lol! Here is a neat pic of us together (I am holding my own here I think! *wink, wink*):

In other news, the drama still continues between certain fbbers in the industry. Some of them need to GET OVER THEMSELVES and others need to get a backbone and start standing up for what they believe in. I happen to know quite a few ladies in bbing and think the majority of them are outstanding people, but there are a few bad seeds that still try to poison the rest either insidiously or overtly...either way, it is duly noted by this girl and I will avoid it at all cost. If it happens to make it to me despite my efforts, I will stop it in it's tracks and it won't be pretty.

Let's change the subject a bit and get into the Christmas spirit! Got a beautiful tree last night and decorated it tonight...it is a very special tree that symbolizes a new lease on life along with much, much love during this holiday season. Hope you all feel such happiness and joy as well.

Stay warm!
G
