What a terrific birthday I had today!!! I am possibly the happiest I have been in my life right now and it is only getting better. Thank you for your great emails--very much appreciated.

I hope you enjoy the new update. If you have any ideas of what you would like to see in the future, do not hesitate to let me know. Okay...off to have some cake! lol! I know--205 lbs and I am eating cake??? Life is meant to be enjoyed and as much as I suffer while prepping, I certainly deserve to live it up in the offseason...especially on my big day.

More to come!

MEMBER'S UPDATE:
I know, I know!!! Been travelling a lot lately, but am happy to report that I just shot the next update and will be sending everything to Andy to post on the site ASAP! (he usually posts on Sundays, but if I am extra sweet to him, maybe he will post it tomorrow) ;-)

Nationals this year was a lackluster event to say the least. Congrats to all of the winners--hope they all enjoyed a terrific Thanksgiving! Big props goes out to my boy Darrell Terrell--what an outstanding competitor who was SO psyched to be on that stage! THAT is the kind of enthusiasm I enjoy watching. Look out for him in Miami next year...the heavyweight division is HIS. I don't know...the show kinda weirded me out a bit...absolutely NO electricity in the room whatsoever. By "electricity" I mean enthusiasm, big vibes, etc... Dallas was nothing like that and I am thankful to have been a part of that show. Hopefully Miami will have the energy return.

I had another PROLOOKS client, Miss Kristy Hawkins. She took 4th in the light-heavy division and looked absolutely gorgeous. We go back a ways, so it was a really neat thing to work with her in Atlanta. I will be sending Andy my PROLOOKS info so that you all can see my "work" and contact me for future hair/makeup help you may need.

More to come later...just wanted to ck in for a sec...
Layta!

Body Tech strikes again! Our masters and open light-heavy female bodybuilder, Regina Raine DOMINATED her divisions at the Sherman this past weekend. The turn out was very low, but she had good competition in each class so that makes for a thrilling victory. Jodie Bruce kicked butt in the novice class bbing as well, and was in the shape of her life. Once again, Howard Huddleston helped guide yet two more people to their goals of being in phenomenal shape. He has a GIFT that I have never seen with anyone in this industry...there are successful trainers out there that do a great job, but H's ability to make adjustments and his EYE are unparalleled. Super proud of him and super happy for these two ladies--CONGRATULATIONS Jodie and Regina!!!

Now to Atlanta we go to help Darrell Terrell and Elena Seiple to the stage this weekend. Very excited for these two competitors--they are both looking amazing and should do VERY well at the contest. I will definitely let you all know how things go when we get back in on Sunday--I am sure it will be an eventful weekend!

Member's update: Bear with me...travelling a lot these past two weeks, but will certainly have a terrific update for you when I slow down a bit next weekend. May get a little something for you today...we will see!

Have a great day all!

Been a busy time at Body Tech! We are dialing Regina in for the Sherman this weekend and she looks fantastic! We will be leaving for Houston early Friday morning and will be at both prejudging and the night show on Saturday. I am excited to see old friends and some of my family this weekend. To anyone who plans on being at the show, please come up and say hello! I wish much success to Reg this Sat. I have no doubt she will be very impressive!

The following Thursday we will be travelling to Atlanta to attend Nationals. What a crazy show that will be. I know that even after Yaxeni deservedly won the Ms. Olympia, there are some people that are still looking for "direction" with the outcomes of the big shows this year. One clue: have great muscularity, beautiful symmetry and shape, be in great condition and LOOK LIKE A WOMAN and you have a good chance of winning-capiche? People outside and even inside our industry are sick of seeing these freak shows representing our sport. I will stop there...don't get me started.

Body Tech Gym update: Man, has the powerlifting bug hit our gym in a big way! Even Carri and I have gotten in on the action a bit. The other night the fellas were showing us how to sumo deadlift...here was my first try at it--not bad and it went up EASY! Arm felt great too!

Our gym is full of powerful bad asses, so it is definitely a place to gain inspiration and motivation for power if that is your thing. Here is Bren (Carri's hubby) squatting--bear in mind, this guy is just getting started--he is a bodybuilder-turned-powerlifter and has probably the best natural strength I have ever witnessed.

And here is what we do after he squats...(a pro's job is never done! lol!)

MEMBER'S UPDATE: My Nationals predictions are in "Gina's Thoughts" in the member's section. Let's see how well I do in two weeks!

Hope you all will enjoy this upcoming holiday season. I love Thanksgiving...it helps that my birthday is Nov. 27th! Turkey and cake all in one week!
Goodnight y'all,

Had a great time at the winery. Actually we toured two of them and really enjoyed them both. I am a merlot fan, so I bought a couple of bottles for relaxing time later. I visited with one of the winemakers and was really enlightened as to how much chemistry is involved in producing the perfect wine. I also found out that creme of tartar is a byproduct of wine as well. Interesting! Here are some pics from our fun girls day:

This weekend I attended two different costume parties...one on Friday and one Sat. night. I dressed as a cowgirl on Friday and a football player on Sat. It was hilarious how many people said I looked like I belonged in that football uniform! lol! Couldn't be that I am tipping the scales at a little over 200 pounds these days could it? Ahh...life of a big girl!! Here are some pics from the Halloween parties (and yes, that is Elena Seiple on the left-looking great!):

Me and Carri

Just an absolutely fun-filled weekend! Member's update: Andy will be posting my next update tomorrow with the rest of the Halloween pics from both parties as well as a kick ass offseason gallery of me training on chest day. I just viewed the clips and they are great!!! It surprises me that at 200+ pounds I can still see some significant definition. Here is a sneak preview of the new gallery:

Hope everyone had a great Halloween. Now onto Thanksgiving!!!

Goodnight all,

G
