Well, it's official..I went to my first WWE show Monday night. I have no interest in this spectacle, but we happened upon some great tickets so we went. They had a live taping for the Monday Night "RAW" and people told me that they could spot us in the fourth row on the floor on tv. It was quite an experience to say the least. The really funny thing is how SERIOUSLY the audience takes all of it. Cracked me up! We had a great time nonetheless and I gained a different perspective on this part of the entertainment industry...they are well-paid I can tell ya that. I have been asked countless times why I don't try to become involved in pro wrestling...simply put...I have no interest in doing so. Not my cup of tea. Another thing that was enlightening that evening was how SMALL the ring and some of the competitors are. Man, the tv really adds size that is for sure!
I finally took some time last week and this week to have some lighter workouts. I took off one week after Nationals and then right back at it full speed ahead. My body has been screaming for a break, so I lightened up the weights a bit and took it a little easier finally. Feeling somewhat better, so I am sure I will back to the intensity zone soon enough. I have really been avoiding the cardio, which I REALLY need to be doing. It is so cool to see Carri come in just to knock out a nice session on the gauntlet (the bane of my existence). Shows great discipline on her part and I admire that....but!....I am not ready to get going on it again just yet. I am back up to 190# right now and absolutely will not let it get higher than that this offseason. There is truly no reason for it. I have enough size, so it's all a matter of refinement this year and then I will make my pro debut in early 2006. I am a big girl and I live an epicurean lifestyle...food is a celebration for me and makes me feel damn good! Cardio will have to keep me in check as I continue on this journey.
I am thinking of breaking up the contest-shape pics I keep posting in the member's section with some recent offseason photos. Let me know what you all think and I will make it happen!
Here is a cool pic I found on Bill Dobbins' website of us fbbers backstage at Nationals this year. I am the one "chillin" on the right! lol!
Thanks again to all of my great members...the best is yet to come my friends!
