Oookkkayyy party people, I am almost 3 weeks out and I am SO READY to get this thing done! I passed up last year's conditioning 2 weeks ago so I feel that I have already accomplished my primary goal. Having done that, the rest of this will be FUN for me. I plan to have a great time in Dallas and whatever happens, happens. There has been some speculation about what weight class I will be competing in since people have heard how tight I am this far out...well, I will definitely still be a heavyweight. Funny thing, people hear that I am more conditioned than last year and think that I must have to drop a weight class. Well, guess what?? I GAINED A SERIOUS AMOUNT OF MUSCLE IN THE OFFSEASON TOO! lol! Gee whiz. Anyway, my legs have always been very stubborn to get to come in and even they are looking pretty bad ass these days. The one bodypart that people keep trippin' on is my BACK. Weird things have happened back there and it is apparently ALL GOOD! (heck if I know, I can't see it! lol!) Here is a pic taken at the 4 week out mark and I must say...I am even better from then. This prep stuff is crazy isn't it? Enjoy your day! G

Just attended the Red River Classic this weekend in Norman, Oklahoma and I must admit, it was a GREAT show! We had four people from Body Tech Gym competing and they all placed in the top three...with two wins. My buddy Joey from the gym placed second in a very tough open middleweight class, honestly he should have won, but you know how that goes! It was very cool to see the guest posers, Tim Young and Darrell Tarrell do their thing as well. I can feel the end of this journey to Nationals nearing closer at 5 weeks out. I have never looked this good in my life...on stage and otherwise! So much so that my trainer told me that I was getting a bit ahead of schedule and told me to eat a junk meal last night. WOOHOO!!!!! I went to Texas Roadhouse and had a salad, steak, sweet potato, and....drumroll please....a slice of PEANUT BUTTER PIE!!!! I had a party in my mouth for sure! lol! It was sweet yet fleeting moment...back to business today. Had to pose this morning to see how the food affected me and it was a tremendously positive response. Suffice it to say, my body loves food! I should have some pics to post from the Red River very soon...until then...everyone enjoy their day! "G"

6 weeks out and boy am I feelin' it! Once again, the worse that I feel, the better I look...so be it. I took some AWESOME PHOTOS today which I will be adding to the site as soon as my webmaster gets back in town. (which should be October 15th from what he tells me) I have had a few emails concerning the lack of updates this week...well now you know...my webmaster isn't available until Friday to update the site...hang in there, it will definitely be worth the wait. I will also post an updated physique pic in G'Ology as well for people to catch up on my progress that aren't members. Okay...time to train. "G"
