Tomorrow will be 12 weeks out from the big show and I am feeling pretty good about things. I still carry a very large look, but my tie-ins are getting tighter and things don't feel so watery. VERY happy with that. I am typically a slow starter when it comes to the leaning up process. 16-12 weeks out I will have very slow, gradual changes...then 12-8 weeks out things start to speed up...then 8 weeks out things really kick in and excite me from day to day. I cannot tell you how much I want 8 weeks to be here already. To have that positive reinforcement looking back at you in the mirror does wonders for ones psyche. It is such psychological warfare on the female bodybuilder, it truly is. I will be posting my 12 week out update photos in the member's section so you will be able to take a look at the changes that are occurring from the 16 week out point. Until then, everyone have a terrific weekend! "G"

Well, I am still alive and kicking! Training is top notch and the diet is getting easier. Cardio is the really challenging part for me right now. People...there is a reason why I get so darn big in the offseason...I HATE CARDIO! I wish I could see a hypnotist so they could put me into a trance and "suggest" that I love cardio for the rest of my life. Can you imagine how bad ass I would look all year long? lol! Riiiiight...in my dreams. I have to say thanks to three ladies...Carri Ledford-Baldwin: you are a great motivator and your daily reminder of what lies ahead of me helps more than you know. Amanda Dunbar: your periodic "check ups" to see how I am doing mean a lot-thanks for that and hang in there during your own prep-we have some heads to turn sister! Elena Seiple-Perticari: your competitive spirit inspires me-thanks for all the great advice and comraderie. Okay, the weekend is upon me and I am less than thrilled. The weekends were always such a source of fun for me and now it is the same ol' thing as the rest of the week. Diet, cardio, train, repeat.... I do have Sundays off, but just use it to catch up on things I needed to do throughout the week. I don't like being this one-dimensional person...but it is what it takes to be at the top of my game so I will have to live with it until November. Thanks to all of my members and donations...your support is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. More clips coming by the end of the weekend to give you a peek into my world these days! Somebody go have a pb&j sandwich for me will ya??!! "G"

Coming up on 14 weeks out this Sat. and things are going very well. I did 30 min. of cardio twice a day the first week and now have been doing 45 min. twice a day for this week. Not sure if H is going to bump it up anymore, but I can tell you that things are improving already. My diet has been spot on and I have only been allowed one cheat meal last Sunday. I get one more this Sunday and that is it...or that is all he says I will have. I don't foresee me getting ahead of the game enough to warrant any more than that, so this Sunday may be it for the duration of my prep. Have to mentally prepare myself for that one! I am a natural born eater, so the cheat meals really make my world a better place to live in. My training has been intense-VERY intense! I like it that way and he certainly caters to that mentality and then some. My water intake has been outrageous--it makes it hard to sleep throughout the entire night when I have to get up constantly to pee. lol! Ah...the world of a bodybuilder...only the strong survive! "G"

July 31st was the 16 week out marker for my prep and the fun has begun. A lot of people diet for only 14 or 12 weeks, but I am a BIG girl, so I need all the time I can get. I topped out at 203 lbs. this offseason and have no clue what I will be weighing in at in Dallas. I added the necessary muscle and definitely improved the areas I needed to, so we shall see what awaits me once this fat is off. I have targeted my shoulders, in particular, due to the size of my biceps/triceps. That area can overwhelm my arms, so I had to slam my delts to create a nicer x-frame. One part that I didn't necessarily target, but have grown to enormous proportions are my legs! Wow! Give them water-they will grow! lol! They stayed leaner in the offseason as well, so that will only help with the final look. All in all, I am very proud of what I have accomplished and look forward to seeing the BEST physique I have ever had this Nov. Well, my new video came out on the WPW site and I received my copy in the mail yesterday. For those that are interested, please go to this link and click on my name to see a preview of sorts.

I was a bit apprehensive to do an offseason video, but I must admit, it turned out pretty good. As soon as the WPW photos come in that accompany that video, I will be posting them in the free area as well as the member's section. I also want to point out that I will be adding a "Road to Victory" gallery to the member's area that shows my progress to Nationals-starting with 16 weeks out pics that will be posted tomorrow. I will be updating that portion every 2 weeks as well as lots of new clips to be posted frequently. The clip quality is GREATLY improved now that I am using the proper camera to get the job done. I listened to the last clip I posted and boy oh boy...do I sound like a Texan or what? LOL! Yeehaw! I have always hated my accent on a recording such as an answering machine, but this takes the cake! I hope everyone is enjoying the member's section--look out for all kinds of new things popping up--the fun is just getting started! "G"
