Went clothes shopping today...what a freakin' joke! Let me tell you, it is not any fun when you have my waist and my legs together trying to cohabitate in a pair of jeans or shorts! It is simply impossible to get the right fit these days at the size I have become. I am not complaining, just a bit frustrated. After struggling with these garments, I will eventually throw them onto the dressing room floor and look up at myself in the mirror and think that this is all worth it...VERY worth it once I show up in Dallas. I have added new clips and photos in the member's section which show just how big I have gotten along with some serious poundages being lifted. I think next week I will get some good leg workouts in there as well. I will also be using a better video camera for an even better quality of clips. I have to thank my members once again for being so terrific and giving me great feedback and suggestions for the future. I should be getting the WPW offseason photos any day in the mail and will certainly post some of them in the member's section AS WELL AS the free portion of my site. They should be REALLY, REALLY good, so I am excited to get them! I just talked to Amanda Dunbar tonight and got her take on her junior national's experience. She is such a trooper, but beyond that, she is extremely smart about her future in the sport and how she should proceed from here. I really enjoy talking to her and consider her one of my true friends in the sport. Electra is doing great and is my daily ball of sunshine! (which I need down here in Houston with the weather lately! gee whiz!) As far as future shows I will be attending...I am going to the Texas State Championships here in Houston to cheer on my sister-in-law "April" in the FITNESS division. Yes, I said fitness...she is one of the last great competitors in a dying division. I cannot wait to see how gorgeous she will look and her routine is going to receive a standing ovation guaranteed. The girl is amazing! I will also be attending the USA's in Vegas the weekend after that. It will be my FIRST time to visit Vegas so I am up for quite an adventure I have heard! lol! I will be cheering Sherry Smith and Carri Ledford on. I have been privileged enough to witness their training and posing in the Body Tech Gym in OKC and I must tell you...those two ROCK!!! I am so excited for them!!! Not only are they tremendous athletes, but they are very humble and don't have a catty bone in their bodies. I mean, here they are...two heavyweight females (and my possible future competition at Nationals) and here comes Big G stomping into their training ground and working with their trainer. You know how they receive me??? WITH OPEN ARMS. That speaks volumes to me about each of their character and I just think the world of both of them. The video shoot in New Jersey went very well. The guys at WPW are terrific to work with and I appreciate the opportunity once again. While there I was able to tour a tiny bit of New York. A variety of emotions ran through me from the amazement at Times Square to the sadness at Ground Zero. Riding in the cab was an adventure in itself! lol! My favorite part of New York, if I were to live there, would have to be Greenwich Village. Very charming with people walking their dogs and looking very peaceful. Very different from the hustle and bustle of the busy NY streets. All in all I enjoyed the trip and look forward to going back when I have more time to explore. I should have some really good photos from the shoot and plan to post some in my free offseason gallery as well as in the member's section. I have had emails asking if I am just going to update my member's section only...absolutely not! I will distribute my pictures as I see fit on my site, but that is not to say that the member's won't get a better, more exclusive look into my world. I am so grateful to the people that have joined so far and see it as a great compliment for them to support me in such a manner. My webmaster is adding THREE NEW VIDEO CLIPS to the section today. One is of me posing during Nationals time last year and the other two were taken yesterday in the gym training back and arms. VERY COOL clips...check it out! "G"

Alright...strange entry in my journal for a couple of days that wasn't the right format, so let me try this again...

I am so happy that my member's section is finally up and running. I have had such great feedback from everyone--THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF IT!!! I plan to provide even more exclusive looks into my world in the future, so updates are on the way. I am shooting a video with WPW this weekend in New Jersey, so photos from that will be posted as soon as I get them. I am a solid 200# and look better than ever in my offseason--VERY happy with that. My webmaster is adding new clips this weekend as well. LOTS of great things to be added--exciting stuff!! Thanks for your support and interest...it's only going to get better and better from here.
