Man! I have a song stuck in my head that I just can't get out..."All For You" by Janet Jackson. It won't go away!!! Thank goodness I love that song. There have been times that I get a funky one stuck in my head and it drives me bananas. Well, I have decided that the Arnold just isn't going to be a reality for me this year. Too much that I must tend to at home to take off, if even for a weekend, right now. GOOD LUCK BONNY!!! MAKE US TEXANS PROUD SISTER! I didn't care so much to have the "Arnold Experience", I mainly wanted to go support my girl. I know she will do well and cannot wait to get that call from Alan letting me know how she did. (I will probably know pretty quickly since I am such an internet person) Okay, so next year, I promise that I will be there. Nothing will stop me then...hell, I might even be making my PRO DEBUT there! lol! I wish!!! Beyond that, I am still finding out more information on Electra's treatments and moving money around to budget the cost it will take to make her well. Whew! That is a lot of dough people!!! My toe is 95% better, but I strained my shoulder a bit yesterday. Ahhh!!! I swear it would be nice to never have an injury ya know? As intense athletes, we put ourselves on the chopping block each time we train, so we take that risk day in and day out. Tomorrow is Friday...I love Fridays. They are usually reserved for the two "S's"...Sushi and Shopping! I have to take it easy on the shopping, but it doesn't hurt to look right? lol! I was thinking of adding an offseason gallery to my website and would love to hear all of your feedback on that. Email me and let me know if you think it is something you would like to see and I will accomodate. Also, I am thinking of adding some new items to my store besides just photos...any ideas there would be great as well. My store hasn't been doing so great since I switched to the Paypal method. Poor me! Maybe it is just a downtime for fbb...or maybe my pics are TOO spread out over a bunch of sites, so why should someone pay for a pic from my store??? I have been approached with having a MEMBERS section on my site, but I really would like to keep everything free for now. If my store doesn't pick up...maybe I will rethink that. Us fbbers gotta make a livin' too folks! Things I need to think about I guess. Have a great weekend everyone! "G"

Warning: This could get a little deep tonight.... Have you ever wondered where people come from that enter your life and why they are put there? I feel that everything happens for a reason and lately I have encountered some of the most wonderful, thoughtful, generous people that I have EVER had the good fortune to meet. WHERE DID THESE PEOPLE COME FROM??? I am truly amazed. They are like guardian angels sent to watch over little ol' Gina. Wherever they are from...whoever sent them...hear this: I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL. "G"

Just checked Andy's site...I am getting smoked by a painfully pale woman from Canada! LOL! Hey, she must have the entire country backing her, because she is kicking all of our butts! So be it, but we still have a month to go-anything can change during that time. Well, I am excited to say that me and my girls will be having a "girl's night out" this Saturday, so we should have a lot of fun. I am REALLY looking forward to it. Will do me some good to get out and let my hair down so to speak. CAN'T WAIT!!! "G"

How fun...just found out that I am in a contest on Andy's site for "Muscle Goddess of the Year". I was fortunate enough to be a Goddess of the Month last year and now he is having the big winner. I understand we get money if we win...hmmm...sounds good to me! lol! For those that are interested, please visit: http://www.andysmusclegoddesses.us/index.html
and cast your vote. It would be greatly appreciated! Off to try and sleep now..."G"

Okay, life has been dealing me a hard hand lately, so it is a very trying time for me at the present. Finances are a pain due to budgeting the money for Electra's treatments along with trips that I had planned for this year becoming an uncertainty. I wanted very much to go watch Bonny make her pro debut at the Arnold in a few weeks, but with things going how they are, it may not be possible. I have never been to the Arnold and was really looking forward to it. I have always balked at playing the Texas lottery, but I may rethink that soon...that is what I need right now...a winning card. I heard a saying that people in general think that a broken pinky toe is funny....until they break theirs. Well, folks, I am here to tell ya--it is no walk in the park! I am doing my level best to keep it taped up and away from things that will cause more injury, but invariably, I will snag it in the carpet or trip over Electra or step wrong as I am getting out of my car...you name it, I am doing it. It will be a miracle to have this thing heal up in a timely manner. I am also not easing up on my workouts in the gym either. Just some slight stance modifications and I am good to go. However...tomorrow is LEG DAY. We shall see how I pull that one off. Okay, enough about my toe... I am pleased to say that I received an email from my buddy Bonny Priest and she sounds like she is going to kick some butt at the Arnold this year. I can only imagine how she must feel...maybe soon I will actualize that. I am so proud of her and am a huge fan. I can tell you that a friend of mine says "Quality over quantity" all of the time and I am here to tell ya that Bonny has a very refined physique that is Quality all the way. She may not be the biggest competitor on that stage, but she will bring the goods, of this I am sure. Still finalizing plans to go to the event. Been procrastinating a bit on travel arrangements, etc.. but I really want to go to show my support as well as experience the Arnold for myself. I have never been, so this should be a great time. Okay, FREAK ACCIDENT today. I was getting ready to go to the gym and was hurrying out of a room and jammed my foot into the door jamb splitting the 4th toe and "pinky" toe apart essentially bending the pinky toe back towards my foot laterally. I heard a sickening POP noise and I knew immediately that I had broken my toe. I had big scrunchy socks on so I couldn't see it but I bent down and pushed it back into place which caused another disgusting noise like a knuckle being popped or something. The pain was pretty substantial, so I called Kev and he recommended I come in to his clinic to shoot some x-rays...as suspected...I have a pretty nice fracture going across my pinky toe. His words were, "wow, you broke it good girl!" He needed to move the bone back to where it belonged and I must say...I saw stars and almost blacked out when he did so. By the way, for those that don't know...he is a Chiropractor and very qualified to do such things. He did some therapies and taped it up. So what do I do??? Drive straight to the gym and train my back and biceps. I am not going to let a pinky toe fracture stop me! lol! I had to really concentrate on not putting pressure on that area, but other than that, all went pretty well. I will say that the throbbing has intensified greatly, but I am a toughy, so whatever! I just want it back to normal so it won't be a nuisance. I kept telling myself, "who in the heck runs their toe into a door jamb and breaks it like that??? Come on!!" lol! Okay, to bed I go-been a loooong day! "G"

21 radiation treatments needed for my baby E. I almost fell over when they told me how much it is going to cost...it stinks because they know that owners that really love their animals will do WHATEVER IT TAKES to make them well. Like I have said before, I have had her for 7 years and I plan on keeping her for another 7, even if I go broke trying to save her. Our weekend went well. Lots of sitting around and visiting, crazy stories and laughter. I needed that so it was a refreshing time. Need a nap now before we go to our superbowl party. I live in the Houston area, and I can tell you that this city has gone bananas today. Celebrity sightings EVERYWHERE! I am just glad the weather turned out nice to accomodate all of the visitors. I could care less about the game, but I get a kick out of the commercials! lol! "G"
